Our Team

Many golfers can play for a lifetime and never make a hole-in-one. Ed Dressel has had the thrill of shooting three! (Not all in the same round.) Ed is the founding partner of the agency and has been in the insurance business most of his working life. Born in Columbus, he and his wife Lois have raised two daughters and have three grandsons. After earning his BBA from Miami University and an MBA from The Ohio State University, Ed also served in the U.S. Navy for eight years. He is active in his church, is a life member of Sertoma International, and is an active member of Scottish Rite, York Rite and Shrine. He is a twice Past-Master of the Goodale Lodge. Along with the quest for his fourth hole-in-one, Dressel also enjoys gardening and model railroading.

Jim Evans joined the agency in 1993 and now serves as the Vice President. He has been married to his wife Lynne since 1990. He and Lynne have three boys who are all graduates of Westerville North High School and are doing their own things now. Jim and Lynne like to walk nightly, travel as much as they can and watch the kids grow in their specific endeavors.

Cindy Raver has recently joined Dressel & Evans as a Customer Service Representative. Cindy has over 15 years’ experience as an insurance CSR. Cindy is from Groveport and enjoys baking and designing cakes. She is active in her church and enjoys event planning and organizing an annual Safety Town program for young children.
