When he’s not helping people with their insurance needs, community involvement and cheering on the Ohio State Buckeyes is what keeps Jim Evans busy.
Married since 1990 to his wife, Lynne, Evans is the father of three boys — Jimmy, Justin and Jeffrey.
His community activities include numerous coaching positions with the Westerville Baseball and Soccer Leagues. He is also a member of the Church of the Master in Westerville, Ohio.
Evans grew up in Springfield, Ohio and later graduated from the Ohio State University with a degree in Hospitality Management.
After college, Evans worked as a manager in the restaurant field until 1990 when he became a project manager for a construction company until 1993.
In 1993, Evans decided on a major career change after receiving his Property and Casualty and Life and Health licenses.
Evans joins up with Ed Dressel and became the insurance agency’s lead producer.
In 2002, he was named Vice President of the agency.
Currently, Evans is a Co-Owner of Dressel & Evans.
Evans is an active at work and with his hobbies, which include, riding the stationary bike to keep in shape, swimming, golfing, tennis, and trying to keep up with the kids athletics.
He is a member of organizations such as Freemasonry and the Sigma Chi Fraternity.
