Many golfers can play for a lifetime and never make a hole-in-one. Ed Dressel has had the thrill of shooting three holes-in-one in his golfing career!
As a Founding Partner of the Dressel & Evans Agency, Dressel has been in the insurance business most of his working life.
Born in Columbus, Ohio and raised in Mt. Gilead, Ohio, the Dressel family moved to Worthington, Ohio where he graduated from high school. He was president of his senior class.
He then graduated from Miami University with a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree and received his MBA in insurance and finance from the Ohio State University.
Dressel is married to his high school sweetheart, Lois, and is the father of two daughters and has three grandsons.
After college, Dressel got right to work in his chosen profession. He worked as a property, casualty, bond and workmen’s compensation underwriter. In 1966, Dressel joined the Floyd Kriesel Insurance Agency (the forerunner of the Dressel & Evans Agency).
Dressel served his country for eight years before receiving his Honorable Discharge from the U. S. Navy.
He is active in his church and served as Chairman of Trustees, Chairman of Ushers, and he is currently Chairman of the Finance Committee. Dressel is a life member of Sertoma International, and an active member of Scottish Rite, York Rite and Shrine. He is a twice Past-Master of the Goodale Lodge.
Along with the quest for his fourth hole-in-one, Dressel also enjoys gardening and model railroading.
