Dressel |
Many
golfers can play for a lifetime and never make a hole-in-one.
Ed Dressel has had the thrill of shooting three holes-in-one
in his golfing career!
As
a Founding Partner of the Dressel & Evans Agency,
Dressel has been in the insurance business most of
his working life.
Born
in Columbus, Ohio and raised in Mt. Gilead, Ohio, the Dressel
family moved to Worthington,
Ohio where he graduated high school. He was president
of his
senior class.
He
then graduated from Miami University and received his MBA
in insurance and finance from the Ohio State
University.
Dressel
is married to his high school sweetheart, Lois,
and is the father of
two daughters and has three grandsons.
After
college, Dressel got right to work in his chosen
profession. He worked as a property, casualty, bond and workmen’s
compensation underwriter. In 1966, Dressel joined
the Floyd Kriesel Insurance Agency (the forerunner of the Dressel & Evans
Agency).
Dressel
served his country for eight years before receiving his
Honorable Discharge from the
U. S. Navy.
He
is active in his church and served as Chairman of Trustees,
Chairman of Ushers, and he is
currently Chairman
of the Finance
Committee. Dressel is a life member of Sertoma
International, and an active member of Scottish
Rite, York Rite
and Shrine. He is a twice Past-Master of
the Goodale Lodge.
Along
with the quest for his fourth hole-in-one, Dressel also
enjoys gardening and model
railroading.

Jim Evans |
When
he’s
not helping people with their insurance needs, community
involvement and cheering on the Ohio State Buckeyes
is what keeps Jim Evans busy.
Married
since 1990 to his wife, Lynne, Evans is the father of three
boys — Jimmy, Justin and Jeffrey.
His
community activities include being a Westerville Baseball
League Coach, work with the Fourth of July
parade, and he is
a member of the Church of the Master in Westerville,
Ohio.
Evans
grew up in Springfield, Ohio and later graduated from the
Ohio State
University with a degree in Hospitality Management.
After
college, Evans worked in the restaurant field until 1990
when he became a project manager for a construction
company until
1993.
In
1993, Evans decided on a major career change after receiving
his Property and Casualty and
Life and Health licenses.
Evans
joins up with Ed Dressel and became the insurance agency’s
lead producer.
In
2002, he was named Vice President of the agency.
Currently,
Evans is a Co-Owner of Dressel & Evans.
Evans
is an active at work and with his hobbies, which include,
riding the stationary
bike to keep in shape, swimming, golfing,
tennis, and football.
He
is a member of organizations such as Freemasonry and the
Sigma Chi Fraternity.

Did
you know that Dan Sipka owns a genuine 1953 Imperial
Town Limousine?
It’s part of his collection of toy Chryslers,
and Chrysler literature.
Sipka
was born in Newton Falls, Ohio (near Youngstown). He received
his college degree from Ohio University in Athens, and his MBA
degree from Kent State University. He earned his CLU
designation in 1984 and his LUTCF designation in 1986.
His
wife, Fran, and he were married in 1969 and have one son,
Ryan.
When
he can pull himself away from his Chrysler collection, Sipka
is also an avid walker!

Stephanie M. Fannin
|
Stephanie
is currently the Dressel & Evans Office
Manager and Customer Service Representative. She also serves
as Secretary
on the Board of Directors with the Agency.
She
is a graduate of Grove City High
School. She is married with one son, 19 years old, and one
daughter, 16 years old, and one
grandson, eight months old.
After
graduating from high school, she went to work for Associated
Builders and Contractors for three years
as a secretary.
In 1992, she joined the Dressel & Evans Agency as
a customer service representative. Fannin obtained her
Property and
Casualty license
in 1992 and obtained her Certified Insurance Service
Representative designation in 1997.
Her
interests include reading, swimming, going to the beach,
race car driving and spending time with her family. |

Nancy Glass |
Before
joining Dressel & Evans Agency in 2004, Glass worked
as an Administrative/ Operations Assistant for 16 years with
Mutual Mfg. & Supply Company in Columbus. She became
a licensed personal lines agent in the fall of 2004.
If
that weren’t enough, Glass is also married with two
daughters and two granddaughters. Her hobbies include music,
reading, sewing, gardening, traveling and spoiling her
granddaughters!
The
best advice she has given her children is probably that “Life
is an adventure.”

Kelly Owen
|
The
new kid on the block is Kelly Owen, who recently signed on
as an afternoon Receptionist.
She
grew up in Columbus and is a graduate of Westfall High
School.
After graduation,
she moved to Hawaii, where she lived for three years. Then,
she moved to Virginia for two years before returning
to Ohio in 2004.
Kelly
is the mother of a “beautiful, four-year-old
daughter.”
She
enjoys spending time with her family, swimming, reading and
scrapbooking!
